Weather forecast in Enköping promised rain, but it was dry and sunny. 7 participants had a chance for a good result. Among them was a 2-time champion Andreas and also a new, 151th participant in a history of our championship – Petras. The fastest in qualification was Ernestas, but in semi-final he dropped to 4th letting Andreas, Igor and Mattias pass by. Mattias then overtook Igor on a final lap for a second place.
In the final session Ernestas used a slingshot to come back to the front and was fighting with Andreas. They were passing the corners side-by-side until the moment when both of them spun and went off the track. They both lost some positions, but Andreas came back on track and started chasing Igor who was chasing Mattias. Andreas overtook Igor for the 2nd place but there was no time left to catch Mattias who got his first victory in GoKart PRIX!

Ernestas had a really good speed, but this incident put him back into 4th pace. Unfortunately, we have no video footage of this incident and therefore can’t investigate further.
